Majority of Presbyteries Support
Office-Bearers in Gay Marriage.
The press, not the church, has just published the news that
the presbyteries of the Church of Scotland have reached a majority in approving
draft legislation that supports office-bearers in gay marriages. A few presbyteries have yet to report, but
the current figure is that 55% of presbyteries support the legislation. That figure may increase slightly with later
returns.
